Claire Hillmick

Program Coordinator

Claire is originally from Snohomish, Washington. She moved to Spokane to attend Whitworth University and quickly fell in love with the city, people and opportunities. She graduated from Whitworth in 2017 with a B.A. in Business Management and Communications. She pursued her entrepreneurial skills and started her own event planning company in 2016 with eagerness to design, coordinate and execute a wide variety of events. She loved every second of it, but wanted to use her passion and talent for ministry, and that is when she discovered Project Six19!

Claire has a desire to build solid relationships and spread the love of Jesus, and this position at Project Six19 creates those opportunities for her every day. She is excited to be apart of a ministry that has a strong mission to bring others to Christ while having healthy conversations around sex and sexuality.

In her free time, Claire enjoys riding horses, hiking, spending time with friends, playing piano, and painting.

Cory Crawford

Communications Director

Cory is just another dude that’s passionate about seeing people find fulfillment and purpose in the person of Jesus Christ. Photography is the closest thing to his chosen profession, but he enjoys producing music, drinking good (or bad) coffee, staying active and enjoying the great outdoors.

After graduating from Spokane Falls Community College with a degree in Audio Technology, he planned on opening up a studio and recording music, but some unexpected doors opened and his life changed pretty quickly. Cory began pursuing photography, and over the course of two years amassed a large following on the photo-sharing app, Instagram. He soon transitioned into taking photos professionally, and today has had the privilege of traveling around the world for his photography and has honed his ability as a curator of meaningful messages on social media.

Cory has also worked in youth ministry on and off since he was 16, and over the course of the last 10 years has seen firsthand the negative impact that our culture’s confusion regarding sex and relationships has had on this upcoming generation. At Project Six19, he is extremely stoked to be apart of what God is doing to reveal the beautiful picture of His original design for sexuality, and ultimately bringing people into relationship with Jesus.

Mitchell Whitehead

Finance Coordinator

Mitch Graduated from Whitworth University in the spring of 2016 with a degree in Accounting. Currently, Mitch is also working with special needs kids at a high school in the area as well as volunteering with the youth group at Whitworth Presbyterian Church. Mitch feels called to be in be involved with youth by being a teacher and help students grow in to caring adults.

When not at work Mitch enjoys playing competitive Ultimate Frisbee, hanging out with his peers and rooting for the Mariners to make the playoffs for once. He also spends time taking online courses to peruse his masters in teaching.
