Ty McQuilkin

Program Coordinator

Ty is a recent graduate from Whitworth University with a degree in theology. Shortly after graduating, he worked at Camp Spalding where he was a leader for the Compass program, which is an eight-week program for high school graduates that focuses on the development of leadership skills, deepening one’s faith, and having a better understanding of one’s call in life. Because of Compass and his many other summers spent at camp, Ty has felt call to full time vocational ministry.

Project Six19 is a ministry near and dear to Ty. His unique skill set and passion for youth makes Ty the perfect suitor for all the programming needs this ministry encounters. When not building relationship with schools around the region, having coffee with local church leaders, or helping develop new content, you can find him serving as a youth leader in his home church.

In his free time, Ty enjoys playing golf, spending time with friends, rooting for the Portland Trailblazers, watching movies, or singing along to a musical. He also believes in miracles: like one day seeing his beloved Seattle Mariners in the playoffs again.

Cory Crawford

Social Media Coordinator

Cory is just another dude that’s passionate about seeing people find fulfillment and purpose in the person of Jesus Christ. Photography is the closest thing to his chosen profession, but he enjoys playing and listening to music, drinking good (or bad) coffee, staying active and enjoying the great outdoors.

After graduating from Spokane Falls Community College with a degree in Audio Technology, he planned on opening up a studio and recording music, but some unexpected doors opened and his life changed pretty quickly. Cory began pursuing photography, and over the course of two years amassed a large following on the photo-sharing app, Instagram. He soon transitioned into taking photos professionally, and today has had the privilege of traveling around the world for his photography and has honed his ability as a curator of meaningful messages on social media.

Cory has also worked in youth ministry on and off since he was 16, and over the course of the last 10 years has seen firsthand the negative impact that our culture’s confusion regarding sex and relationships has had on this upcoming generation. At Project Six19, he is extremely stoked to be apart of what God is doing to reveal the beautiful picture of His original design for sexuality, and ultimately bringing people into relationship with Jesus.

Julia Feeser

Blog Curator

A self proclaimed life enthusiast with a passion for connecting people through stories. Julia graduated from Whitworth University in 2013 with a B.A. in communications and a minor in theatre, and after graduation served as the social media intern for Krochet Kids intl. in Costa Mesa, Calif., before returning to Spokane to live with an amazing community of friends.

A writer at heart, Julia is the creator and author of HelloSoul, a blog where she shares her adventures and curiosities in faith, dating, friendships, and post grad living in the hope that others may feel encouraged in their own life experiences. She believes the telling of stories, even difficult ones, connects people in ways only being vulnerable can, and this is one reason she loves the mission of ProjectSix19.

Julia worked at Project Six19 as the Social Media and Program Coordinator for two years before throwing caution to the wind to pursue a career in writing. Long before her time at Project Six19, Julia knew she wanted to offer her voice and experience to the conversation about relationships and sex in a way that eliminated shame and empowered people to live a life of courageous honesty and joy.
