As parents, we must be willing to tackle difficult subjects when discussing sex and sexuality with our kids.
These difficult subjects include:
If we are not willing to tackle the tough conversations with our children, we may do them a disservice not sharing our value especially when we live in a culture where these topics are unavoidable.
We can’t control how our kids will respond but we can always communicate our love for them…no matter the circumstances.
God wants a relationship with us – no matter our life circumstances, no matter what we’ve done, no matter how we see ourselves.
God’s biggest desire is that we find wholeness because of our relationship with Him.
Humans are biologically primed to seek moral and spiritual meaning.
Parents, this is an important reminder – this study communicates that no matter how far our kids wander or how hardened their hearts may become, there is still a longing for the divine.
We have a wonderful opportunity before us to engage in these very important topics.
We simply need to be willing to step into these conversations because if we don’t the consequences are many.
